Being charged with a criminal offence can be a scary and confusing event. I am available 24/7 to ensure that
your interests are represented and protected throughout the court process.
I treat my clients with honesty, respect and human decency. No matter what allegations you are facing, I will
work with you to ensure that your matter is handled with diligence, and human kindness. I will put my skills
to work to best serve you and your interests.
I am available to notarize and commission documents.
If you require a signature to be witnessed you must make an appointment and swear an oath that the contents are true.
You must bring the document, photo identification and the signing must be done in my presence.

If you require a copy of a document you must drop off the document(s) at my office (at your convenience Monday-Thursday
8:30am - 4:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm.) You must also provide photo identification at that time.
You will be notified within 2 business days that the documents are ready to be picked up.
For both services please provide the following information to my office:
Name, date of birth, address, telephone number and email.
The fee for each service is $50.00. Payment can be made by cash, or e-transfer.
If you are on Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Payments the fee will be reduced.
I am available to complete contract and agency work for lawyers, including, completing legal research, organizing and analyzing large volumes of evidence/disclosure, and drafting legal facta and memoranda. Fees are normally charged on an hourly basis for such services, however, fees can be negotiated on a per project basis. Please note that I am willing to work at Legal Aid Ontairo rates on LAO client files.
I am also available to appear for counsel in London, Ontario and surrounding jurisdictions for a reasonable fee. You can expect that your matter will be addressed in a courteous and professional manner. Confirmation of my appearance and next court date will be sent with an invoice for services rendered within 48 hours of completing all agency matters.
After graduating from McMaster University with a Bachelors of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Philosophy,
I received my law degree from the University of Western Ontario Law Faculty. While at Western Law I was an active member
at the student legal aid clinic (Community Legal Services). I completed my articles with Community Legal Services and I
continued there as Review Counsel after completing my articles, in a teaching and supervisory role. During my time at
Community Legal Services, I worked on files in a variety of areas of law including, criminal, human rights, and housing matters.
I opened my own practice, Elizabeth Ferris Law, with a focus on criminal defence in early 2014. Since opening my practice I have
been working hard to defend those charged with criminal offences in Southwestern Ontario.
My greatest strengths are my advocacy, professionalism, organization, and communication skills. I have a strong sense of
discretion and high value for confidentiality.

When you meet with me in person please bring all documents related to the matter (including any documents you received from the police and/or at court), and photo identification.
